Body lifts
Arm lift
After weight loss or with advancing age, the upper arm skin
can become loose and flabby resulting in a "bat-wing" appearance.
The arm lift or otherwise known as brachioplasty, can remove
the excess skin and fat deposits, leaving the upper arms with a more
pleasant and youthful contour.
Arm lift is a procedure, during which excess skin and fat are removed
from the upper arms. The incision extends from the elbow to the underarm,
and sometimes on to the side of the chest. In some cases, Dr Samir Zaki may
recommend that liposuction be used alone or in conjunction with an arm lift to
remove excess fat in the upper arms.
This procedure requires local or general anaesthesia and takes a period no
more than an hour and a half, and the patient is discharged on the same day.
Thigh lift
After major weight loss or with advancing age, loss of skin elasticity of the
thigh can occur. The skin that was stretched due to weight gain loses its
ability to be elastic and does not bounce back after the weight is gone. Thus,
the skin of the thigh can appear saggy and loose. This situation can have a
psychological impact on the patient, in which case, thigh lift is the solution.
The thigh lift or thighplasty is a procedure in which the excess skin and fat
deposits are removed, giving the thighs a tighter look and more attractive contour.
Dr Samir Zaki approaches thigh lifts to meet your specific needs.
This means adequately assessing the amount of excess skin and fat that needs to be removed.
This procedure requires local anaesthesia and takes a period of one to two hours
depending on the severity of the condition and the amount of correction required.
The patient can be discharged from the hospital after one day.
